The majority of skin lesions to eyelids cause irritation and raise unfavourable cosmetic concerns.
Training to treat this delicate area using excision with either the electrocautery or surgical method has been provided to the Nurse Clinic. Local anesthetic is used to ensure that comfort is maintained throughout the procedure.

We use dermal curettes and scalpels to cut off the lesions, and then employ the Hyfrecator to cauterize any resulting bleeding.

Frequently asked questions
Skin rubbing together, obesity, Insulin resistance, or hormonal changes such as pregnancy can cause skin tags. The cause of skin tags is not always clear, but these factors can be responsible.
You will feel only the discomfort of the needle during the process of numbing the area with local anaesthetic before removing the skin tag.
Skin tags appear anywhere on the body however it will not grow back in the area where you have had the skin tag removed
Skin Tags can be removed by EXCISION or CRYOTHERAPY
A small mark, such as a scar or an area of lighter or darker skin, is commonly left behind after a skin tag is removed.
It will take 3-5 days for the wound to heal after the skin tag is excised.
