TREATMENT PLAN
The recommended dosage of vitamin B12 injections for B12 deficiency is 1000 mcg (1 injection) every 2-3 months. If you require B12 for a deficiency you will need a blood test prior to attending the clinic or have your recent blood test results.
If you simply wish to have B12 injections for wellbeing or dietary purposes we are able to administer these every 6 months.

No, you do not require blood tests. Having a blood test, in order to check your general health is always beneficial it is helpful for you to access any recent liver, kidney and full blood count results from your GP surgery to bring with you to your appointment at THE NURSE CLINIC.

IV and IM Vitamins are not painful but patients occasionally report mild discomfort during the initial butterfly needle insertion or IM Injection . A mild stinging sensation is occasionally felt but this subsides. Bruising, itching or redness is sometimes experienced.
Treatment response can vary from person to person. Some patients report an instant outcome, whereas others find it takes between 12 and 24 hours. Whatever happens for you, the results are fairly rapid.

7) PATIENTS WITH A HISTORY OF HEPATITIS AND ANY OTHER LIVER DISEASE.
8) PATIENTS SUFFERING WITH LIVER CIRRHOSIS.
9) CHRONIC ALCOHOL ABUSE.
10) ILLEGAL DRUG ABUSE.
11) EPILEPTIC PATIENTS.
12) WITHIN 6 WEEKS OF ANY VACCINATION.
13) PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT FOR CARDIAC FAILURE.
