How are skin lesions removed?

All methods of skin lesion removal are used interchangeably to achieve the safest clinical outcome and best aesthetic result.

Used on lesions that prodtude from your skin surface. It is ‘shaved’ off so it is the same level of the surrounding skin.

Curettage (Scooping)

Your lesion is gently scooped away using a curette spoon.

Electrocautery (Burning)

Probe which is heated up by an electric current and used to burn off a skin lesion.

Your lesion is frozen off using liquid nitrogen.

*Although every effort is made during skin lesion removal procedures to ensure the lesions are treated effectively or excised fully, there may be rare occasions that the outcome is still not 100% effective – Please be aware of this before booking your appointment and consenting to the procedure as no refunds will be given*
