SETTLING DOWN TIME After ears have been impacted with wax or debris for a period of time it takes a week or so for things to settle down. It can be normal to feel “blocked”. If this feeling continues beyond a week or so it may be worth starting steam inhalation to clear the eustachian tube. Details of Eustachian Tube Dysfunction can be found at https://patient.info/ears-nose-throat-mouth/earache-ear-pain/eustachian-tube-dysfunction
ROUTINE EAR CARE The ear has self-cleaning properties. Wax is normal and has protective qualities. Do not use cotton buds Use of a small amount of Olive oil or Earol once or twice a month lubricates the ear canal.
